Spain is a highly developed Western European country and the fifth largest economy in the eurozone, ranking 6th in Europe and 13th in the world in terms of gross domestic product (GDP). Its economy ranks 4th in the European Union and 14th in the world. At the same time, Spain has very superior tourism resources, known as the “Kingdom of Tourism”. The traditional tourism industry is well developed and ranks as the second largest tourist power in the world. The level of modernization of agriculture is high, and the output of olive oil and the area of grape plantation rank first in the world.

Golden Residence Permit Program

On September 27, 2013, Spain enacted an immigration bill, which was updated on July 31, 2015, stipulating that an investor who purchases a 500,000 euro real estate project in Spain will be able to obtain a Spanish residency permit for three generations of immigrants.

 

Residence for 5 years, eligible to apply for permanent resident status in Spain. Residence for 10 years, eligible to apply for a Spanish passport, visa-free access to more than one hundred countries and regions around the world.

Non-Lucrative Residencial Authorization

Foreigners are allowed to reside in Spain by proving that they and their family have sufficient financial means not to engage in any profit-making activity in Spain.


The non-profit residence permit can be renewed if the holder has resided in Spain for at least 6 months per year and has sufficient financial means to support him/her and his/her family in Spain.In June 2023 the Spanish Judiciary announced the abolition of this requirement of residing in Spain for at least 6 months per year.


Applicant conditions:

1 The main applicant is over 18 years old and is not a resident of an EU member state;
2 No record of illegal stay in Spain;
3. not have a criminal record;
4. no restrictions on entry into Spain;
5. Proof of financial ability
*The main applicant’s monthly salary is €2,151.36, and €537.84 for each additional subsidiary application; any document that proves that he/she has sufficient financial resources, e.g., property deeds, checks, credit cards, stocks; preferably, a deposit of €1,000,000 or more.
6. have private medical insurance;
7. not suffering from a disease that would restrict entry into Spain + medical report.
